This is the main reason people are saying it's not for younger kids, but it's not bad at all! It's actually a very heartwarming story. The story mode is very creative and unique, too, and you would think that would really be the only part of the game that is getting these bad reviews, right? Well, yes, but no. There are a few factors that require some understanding of football and the game itself, but it's not that hard. It's not a shooting game, there's not much violence, and most of the modes are easy and fun. I don't understand why some people are saying it's too bad for younger kids. If you have Xbox Game Pass it is included but so is M21 so just play that one instead. It sucks and is even worse than Madden 21. It felt cool during the college segment, but once I got to the NFL, it felt like normal Franchise mode. Face of the Franchise was a cool addition, but was nowhere near as fleshed out as it needed to be. There was lagspike every five seconds, the playcalling was janky, and overall the game was not good. I wouldn't recommend playing Madden 20 online either the servers are hot garbage and I'm talking from experience playing online before Madden 21 was even announced so you know it was very bad. Now I know with sports games it is hard to innovate, but at least give attention to modes like Franchise instead of focusing solely on Ultimate Team! Ultimate Team is literally just nothing but NFL Casino Simulator: The Game. Do I even need to say it? Madden games claim to come with so many improvements, yet they always end up being reskins of past games.
